Meet Elizabeth, our citizen of the week!
Elizabeth has lived at 34797-A Maple Street in the most fashionable area of Westridge since November 29, 2005. This avid jogger loves her neighborhood because its hills offer a wide range of challenges for her when she goes running.
Elizabeth is a very athletic young lady, who loves to try new sports and games. She was really excited about finally getting an opportunity to play ice hockey when the rink in Peabody Park opened, but in reality, Elizabeth enjoys sports from all seasons. During the summer, she can usually be found swimming laps at the pool, playing a rigorous game of water polo, or just splashing around with her friends.
In addition to her impressive athleticism, Elizabeth is also a very generous person. In fact, she spends a lot of her spare time doing volunteer work. Though she's willing to take on any challenge if she feels like she can help, Elizabeth prefers working with animals the most. She often helps out at the Pet Palace after her classes have let out for the day, and she's always happy to clean cages or walk dogs.
Elizabeth also enjoys taking some time to express herself artistically. The treehouse in her backyard is the perfect place for Elizabeth to get away, relax, and make art. She loves to draw, but it's more than just a hobby for her. Because she's a deep thinker, Elizabeth puts a great deal of thought and care into her drawings, which are usually colorful creations in dramatic shades of gold, magenta, and red.
Elizabeth's flair for the dramatic doesn't stop with her artwork, though. She's also an accomplished actress who excels at musical theater. Elizabeth recently tried her hand at writing some songs of her own and even made a recording of them at the Studio. Her creative and funky style is based on Elizabeth's three favorite kinds of music - polka, world music, and pop. Many of her fellow citizens have been intrigued by her stirring combination of sounds, and as a result, one of Elizabeth's songs has even made it to the top of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Top Ten chart!
Thank you for being a good citizen, Elizabeth, and congratulations on being named Millsberry's citizen of the week!
