Meet Brandy, our citizen of the week!

Brandy lives at 76902 Island View along the picturesque shores in Lakeview. She has been sailing, swimming, and fishing in the lake since moving to Millsberry on May 29, 2005.

When she decided to get a place in Millsberry, Brandy chose her neighborhood very carefully, with its location being her number one priority. She loves to swim and is very athletic, which is why Lakeview seemed like an obvious choice! Now that summer is over and the lake is too cold, though, Brandy can often be found swimming laps at the Community Center pool. You might spot her there some day, doing the butterfly or backstroke. Brandy will probably be the one in the light blue, green, and pink bathing suit, speedily slipping through the water like a fish! When she isn't in the pool, Brandy likes to stay fit by going for long jogs along the lakeshore and riding her bike to Peabody Park. Since soccer is another of Brandy's favorite athletic pursuits, she'll often join in a casual soccer game with friends at the park or practice her skills on the field.

Although Brandy is very sporty, she has many interests outside of the playing field too. She possesses a very charming personality, which she's put to good use through her hobbies of singing and acting. Brandy has a talent for drawing an audience in, whether she's singing a romantic love song or reciting a Shakespearean monologue! Brandy dreams of combining these two interests one day and writing her very own musical. She says that the music will be influenced by her favorite styles — jazz, funk, and pop.

When she just wants to relax and hang out with her friends, Brandy usually heads to the ice cream parlor or the mall. She loves spending an afternoon having long talks with her friends over a yummy banana split or browsing the shelves at her favorite stores.
