Meet Lizzei, our citizen of the week!

Lizzei lives at 7263 Timberwolf Way in the fashionable neighborhood of Metro Park. Lizzei celebrated the first anniversary of her life in Millsberry on September 2, and she's still as excited to be here as she was on her first day in town!

Lizzei's favorite thing about living in Millsberry is the wide variety of outdoor activities available in the area. She loves playing catch in Peabody Park, rowing on Sylvane Lake, or just hiking in the hills and forests that surround Millsberry. Her athletic nature keeps Lizzei busy throughout the year, no matter what the season. Whether it's playing tag in her backyard during the summer or challenging her friends to a hockey game at an ice rink in winter, you're likely to find Lizzei doing something active all year round.

In addition to her athletic pursuits, Lizzei is also a great student. She always makes sure to finish her homework and fit in some studying time before going outside to play. Lizzei's favorite subjects at Millsberry Academy are usually her foreign language classes. Lizzei loves to approach new languages as if they were a puzzle for her to figure out. When Lizzei does well on a test or gets a really good grade on an essay, she likes to reward her hard work by visiting a mall and buying herself something special. For the high score she earned on her last math test, Lizzei bought herself a cool zebra, indigo, and light blue sweater.

Along with being athletic and smart, Lizzei also has a creative side. Her love of language really shines through in the short stories that she likes to write in her free time. Lizzei would be the first to tell you that the knowledge she has gained about other cultures has really enriched the characters and settings of her stories. When she's not working on her latest story, Lizzei can often be found writing poetry in her bedroom, crafting a haiku, sonnet, or limerick as she listens to her favorite pop, soft rock, and country CDs for inspiration.

Lately, however, Lizzei has been writing song lyrics more than anything else. Since she loves to sing as much as she loves to write, Lizzei decided to combine her two hobbies and headed down to the Millsberry Recording Studio, where she recorded a few original tracks. Lizzei's truly unique sound has earned her a lot of fans, taking her song all the way to the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Top Ten chart!
