Meet Becky, our citizen of the week!

Becky lives at 19530 Broadway Boulevard in a house overlooking Lakeview's lovely blue expanse of water. She's been a citizen since January 21, 2005, and in her short time here, Becky has already made quite an impact on the community.

Becky always has a group of laughing friends gathered around her, as her sharp wit livens up any conversation. Her spontaneous sense of humor has been the source of many memorable quotes and amusing tales told during lunchtime at Millsberry Academy. Great comic talent, however, isn't the only thing that Becky's classmates like about her; because of Becky's compassionate nature, whenever her friends have problems, Becky's usually the one they turn to.

In the classroom, Becky's teachers and fellow students admire her for being a hard-working, energetic learner. Her swift thinking has not only earned her good grades, but also a trophy for Solver. Additionally, her knowledge of computers often comes in handy, since she's always eager to lend a hand if someone needs a little help with theirs.

It should come as no surprise, then, that Becky can most often be found among a large group of her friends. Weekends usually find them at the mall, hanging out until their night ends with dinner at Regio's Famous Pizza Parlor. When she's out with a handful of her best buddies, they'll usually wind up at her best friend's house, where they talk and play games late into the night.

When Becky has some time alone, she likes to pursue two of her other passions - mysteries and painting. On winter nights, Becky likes nothing more than curling up in front of the fireplace with a good, exciting mystery! However, now that the days are warmer, she often likes setting up an easel in front of an open window and painting, usually in the bright spring colors of pink, green, and red, which happen to be her favorites. While painting, Becky is usually humming along to the classic rock, country, or modern rock music that she's got playing on her stereo.

When she's not painting, Becky finds the time to volunteer at Peabody Park, where she does her part to help keep the park clean. Another contribution that she's made during her stay in Millsberry is a generous donation to the Community Center Building Fund. Though she just moved here recently, Becky is certainly excited about what the future holds for both her and her new home in Millsberry!
