Meet Lily, our citizen of the week!
Lily lives at 51366 Maple Street in one of the beautiful, modern homes of Westridge. Lily loves the marvelous views and family-friendly atmosphere of her neighborhood, and she's enjoyed hiking and riding her bike along the many trails of King's Hill since she moved to Millsberry on May 21, 2005.
What really makes Lily unique is her boundless creative spirit. She loves all kinds of art, but sculpting is her favorite medium for expression. Lily really enjoys working her sculpting materials with her hands, digging her fingers into clay or hammering and chiseling stone. The sculptures that Lily is most proud of are the ones she made using her favorite colors. She especially likes to display her light blue clay piece and her ceramic sculpture that is painted with pink and violet glaze. Lily often finds inspiration for her artwork in the books that she loves to read, as well as in the music she listens to while she works (usually country, pop, and rap).
Lily is also a very good student. The class that she enjoys most at Millsberry Academy is math. Lily often spends time after school tutoring younger children in that subject and helping them with their homework. Because Lily is so friendly and easygoing, her students always feel perfectly at ease with her.
When she wants to relax and have fun, Lily usually heads out to catch a baseball game. You can often find her at Peabody Park on warm spring afternoons, cheering as hard as she can for her favorite team, the Millsberry Millers. During the summer, Lily spends a lot of her time at the pool, where she splashes around with her friends or simply sunbathes and reads a book. When the weather isn't right for swimming or baseball, Lily likes hanging out with her friends at a mall, browsing through the shops and trying on all the latest fashions.
Thank you for being a fine citizen, Lily, and congratulations on being named Millsberry's citizen of the week!
