Meet Emma, our citizen of the week!
Emma lives at 17660 Ripple Road, right on the waterfront in Lakeview. She's been enjoying the fresh, cool breezes that blow in from the lake since moving in on August 22, 2005.
One look at Emma's full trophy case will tell you that she's very athletic! Her two favorite sports are soccer and baseball, so it's often possible to find Emma at Peabody Park after school and on weekends. She usually heads straight for the playing field as soon as she has a spare moment. While she really loves those two sports, Emma also enjoys challenging herself. That's why she recently invested in a pair of violet, light blue, and dark blue skates, and paid a visit to the ice rink. Thanks to this trip, Emma has discovered that she loves hockey too! She's now looking forward to winter, because then she'll be able to practice her skating skills on the lake in her own neighborhood. Emma is also interested in trying out more adventurous sports, such as sky diving, which she plans to take up as soon as she's had the appropriate safety training.
Though Emma can be intimidating on the field or the ice, she is actually very friendly! In fact, because she's so smart, Emma is comfortable engaging in conversations that touch on a wide variety of topics, and her friendliness makes it easy for her to open up to people. Emma's favorite way of spending time with her large group of friends is to take in a film at the movie theater and then discuss it over a warm pepperoni pizza at a pizza place. Emma and her friends often have very lively discussions, and since Emma loves hearing new points of view, you should feel free to join in!
Thanks for being a good citizen, Emma, and congratulations on being named Millsberry's Citizen of the Week!
