Meet Rose, our citizen of the week!

Rose lives at 5277 Twilight Lane amid the rolling hills of Golden Valley. She has loved the quaint, rural appeal of her neighborhood since she first moved there on August 15, 2004.

Sometimes, when she's getting used to being in a new place, Rose can be a bit shy. Over the years, though, she's learned to overcome this shyness by making use of her sporty nature and getting involved with various athletic teams. Rose has found that it's a great way for her to meet people with common interests, and she gets to show off her athletic skills in the process! One of the first things that Rose did when she moved to Millsberry was head off to Peabody Park and find a soccer game to join. Ever since her arrival, Rose has made lots of friends on the soccer field, which has given her the confidence to be more friendly and outgoing in other situations, too.

Another way that Rose has been able to overcome her shyness is through her love of music and singing. Rose has always loved music, but for many years, she thought that being shy would keep her from singing in front of an audience. When the Millsberry Recording Studio opened, however, Rose saw a chance to share her musical gifts with the world. Knowing that she shouldn't let this opportunity pass her by, Rose headed over to the studio and recorded a few songs. Rose's fun, exciting tunes, which are inspired by her love of rap, pop, and country, have caught the ears of people all over Millsberry, and one of her tracks has even reached the top of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Top Ten chart!

When she's not in the Recording Studio or on the soccer field, Rose can usually be found at Millsberry Academy, studying in the library or helping Miss Seashore decorate her classroom. Rose also enjoys spending time with her friends by catching the latest film releases at the Downtown Entertainment Complex's theater. When Rose needs some time to unwind, she usually heads back to the tree house in her backyard, which she has decorated in her favorite colors - black, green, and dark blue. Up there, Rose uses her quiet time alone to write songs, read, or simply relax after a long day.
