Thursday, April 5, 2007 — Millsberry is a-buzz with rumors of a new happening in town! Mysterious water squirters have appeared in some of the city's hotspots. Gazette editor-in-chief Audrey Smythe-Wei went into the field herself to investigate.

A breathless Kayley Fenn was running towards her home in Westridge when she nearly collided with Audrey.

"I was in Peabody Park when I spotted something moving slightly on the path," explained Kayley. "I went to go pick it up and then I was covered in water and the moving thing was gone, leaving behind a propeller hat! I'm on my way to tell all my friends!"

Indeed, a propeller hat was perched on her head, its wings spinning slightly. Kayley continued on her way. Puzzled, Audrey went to the man who would know best—Mayor Oliver Trumble. What were these moving objects?

The mayor had been preparing an official statement, and greeted Audrey with an expectant smile. "You're not mistaken," he said. "We have some visitors in Millsberry. I'm proud to announce the start of the Up For Grabs! Spring Challenge. Mischievous Spider-Man™ 3 water squirters are hiding around town. Once a day you will have the opportunity to win something when you find one!"

"What kind of prizes?" Audrey asked excitedly.

"Totally out-there goofy items!" said the mayor. "You'll flip when you see some of these things. Really goes along with Millsberry's April Fool's Month. And you might even win one of the four squirters themselves!"

"How long will this last?" asked Audrey, as worked up now as Kayley had been.

"The rest of this month and all of May too! You can win up to 20 prizes!" With that, the mayor excused himself and got back to his work.

So, straight from the mayor's mouth, the Up For Grabs! Spring Challenge has begun, and will continue through May! Good luck spotting those squirters, and keep the spirit of April Fool's Month alive!
