That's right--you're graduating! What do you expect from the town that rolls to the beat of a different drum? It all came as a pleasant surprise to us too, here at The Gazette. But since everyone in town has done so well, exceeding all expectations from game scores to raising money at Grow Good Farms, that it's time to graduate and say goodbye to Millsberry!Editor-in-Chief
Mrs. Seashore and Mr. Fort think it's bittersweet. "I'm so excited for everyone to graduate. Due to everyone's hard work and love of this town, it's the right time. From participating in the Career Center, to the Walk for Malawi, Millsberry citizens are just super-smart and passionate. Now it's up to them to create their own fun-filled future."
As a graduation gift, each citizen of Millsberry will get their own yearbook, full of memories, items, trophies, and more. Starting October 28th, you can start to customize and print that yearbook and make as many versions as you wish. And remember, after December 31st 2010, you'll no longer be able to visit Millsberry because everyone will have graduated.
So what do you have to do? Mayor Wright filled us in, "Now is the time to take advantage of things like shopping for wacky items, playing new games to win new trophies, tending to your farm for new items, and visiting the Greenhouse to find bugs and grow flowers. The more you do, the more you can take with you. Here's what you'll get:
* An image of you in front of your home that you can print. So that means you can shop for a new outfit, and decorate the outside of your home any way you want...the wackier the better!
* Your bio of interests and personality will also be put in your yearbook. So if you really like magic tricks and you haven't listed it yet, go back and customize your buddy traits to switch it up.
* And one last thing, you'll have the chance to pack up 15 of your favorite items. Start thinking of what those will be, shop at yard sales, and shop 'til you drop."
And remember, the best part of all is that you can make lots of versions of your yearbook until December 31st, 2010. That way you can eventually have every item you've ever owned!
Congrats, grad, on all of the wonderful things you've done in Millsberry.
