Thursday, July 5, 2007 — How time flies! Around this time last year, Millsberry was about to experience a very unexpected visitor. Those of you who lived here at the time will recall meeting a cool girl named Jenneira, who sent the town into a tizzy looking for pieces of her spaceship!

The Gazette spoke with Arthur Fort, Millsberry Academy's science teacher, who reflected on this spectacular moment in Millsberry's history.

"Everyone really came together to help her reconstruct her ship," he said. "She got people interested in the cosmos too. You might even say she was very down-to-earth." Mr. Fort chuckled to himself.

Jenneira's ship got caught in the Alpha Lyrid meteor shower and was forced to land in Millsberry. Her ship left quite an impression...in the form of the Westridge Crater! You can still see Jenneira's influence on Millsberry. With citizens sporting space dresses and space gloves, and nurturing alien pets and alien plants, it's safe to say that they are still big fans of Jenneira a year later.

Our interview with Mr. Fort yielded some other very interesting news.

"I'd like to announce a new activity here in Millsberry," he told us. "Here's how it works: Spot me gazing at the stars with my telescope, and I'll give you a puzzle piece. I can only give you one puzzle piece per day, so you'll have to spot me on twelve different days over the month to get all the pieces."

"But what are these puzzle pieces?" we asked.

"I can't tell you! But put them together in your home and you'll figure it out. And at the end of the month you'll get a cool reward for participating—I promise!"

What a mysterious challenge he has given us! Citizens are already guessing at what the completed puzzle will reveal. As people collect pieces and place them in their homes, they also plan to check out each other's puzzle progress by keeping their homes open to visitors.
