We All Scream for Ice Cream!
Thursday, February 4, 2010 — On a recent evening at the Downtown Entertainment Complex, moviegoers and Arcade gamers were stopped in their tracks by a giant ice cream cone. Unfortunately, it wasn't edible. But what was edible was the sprawling selection of delicious goodness waiting just inside the new store beside it!

That's right: In case you haven't noticed, an Ice Cream parlor has taken over the old Snack Shop, in honor of the NEW ice cream-flavored Fruit Roll-Ups® Scoops™! Each yummy roll comes in three delectable, fruity ice cream flavors—and feature tongue tattoos in the shape of cones. Talk about lots of fun rolled into one super snack! Apparently, Mayor Wright found the orange-strawberry-raspberry combos so irresistible that he was inspired to open the Ice Cream Shop and launch a new Ice Cream Memory Game to celebrate their arrival!

Wright himself told us, "As an avid moviegoer, my sweet tooth gets the best of me—and ice cream is the perfect companion for a flick. Plus, it was time for something new. But don't worry! You can still find your favorite hot dogs, smoothies, and other Snack Shop goodies at the Grocery Store."

This said, you'll be surprised at the variety of cool stuff sold inside. Keith Umai, Millsberry Museum curator, was among the excited onlookers. [url=]"Banana split sundaes; raspberry, orange, and strawberry ice cream cones; ice-cream scoop chairs and other ice cream-themed items; and of course, Fruit Roll-Ups® Scoops™ are among the many offerings you've got to check out for yourself!"

The curator also promised we weren't the first passersby to be surprised, noting "When I saw a giant ice cream cone on top of the Entertainment Complex, I thought I was seeing things. Soon, though, I realized my dream had come true! An ice cream store had finally landed in Millsberry!"

"To me," Keith explained, "ice cream can be a work of art, just like the paintings hanging all around me at the museum. For instance brightly colored ice creams, all swirled together with different toppings, are a delight to behold. And Fruit Roll-Ups® Scoops™ are also lots of fun. You can eat each flavor by itself by pulling them apart—or you can eat 'em all rolled up, for a fruity-sweet treat. Plus, you never know...you just might get a tongue tattoo of an ice cream cone on your tongue!"

Actually, we figure some Millsberrians already have tongue tattoos, given the crazy popularity of the new shop. And right next door at the Arcade, people are lining up to play the new Ice Cream Memory Game. Simply flip over the cards two at a time and try to find a match before time runs out. (Matches include pictures of ice cream cones and other inviting images.) We can't wait to see who gets on the Top Scorer's Board—though our best guess is Mayor Wright who, as mentioned earlier, helped design the game. Wright had no comment on our prediction, but he might've kept mum just to hide his tongue tattoo!
