Thursday, July 26, 2007 — Millsberry's citizens received a huge shock today as Jenneira, our intergalactic visitor from last year, made a surprise landing! She'd been missing Millsberry as much as we've been missing her.

"Of all the places I could've crash landed last year, I couldn't have stumbled upon a friendlier town. Every person I met was so cool—it was like finding a place where everyone was just like me!"

She's delighted that people still wear the clothes inspired by her space fashion, and she swapped stories with a few citizens about their alien pets.

"One girl named Sharon said her alien pet loves hanging out in the backyard. Where I come from, pets are always kept indoors. The pets in Millsberry are so lucky!"

But the question on everyone's mind was, "What has Jenneira been up to since we last saw her?"

Well, for one thing, she's got a new ship!

"Millsberry's citizens helped me find the pieces of my last ship and I was able to repair it well enough to get myself home," Jenneira explained. "But I knew if I was going to do any serious traveling in the future I would need a new craft. This one is the latest, coolest model and is amazing to drive!"

So is this the last we'll see of Jenneira?

"I don't know when I'll be able to visit again, because I'll be really busy when I get back home. I've been accepted to a program that trains people to be teachers. I was able to contact Mr. Fort about a month ago to tell him the good news. I want to be a mentor to younger people...even though I'm very young myself!"

Mr. Fort added, "I told Jenneira she ought to come by and visit before starting her teacher training. We thought up the puzzle idea together to help stir up a little excitement in town. Looks like it worked!"

But how was Jenneira able to contact Mr. Fort from so far away?

"I won't get into too much detail here, but I basically used a new super-advanced email system! I'm not a pro at it yet, but hopefully I can send some messages to Millsberry in the future. I'm so glad to be back here—I just wish I could stay longer than a week!"

We're all very pleased to have such a special visitor in town. July has certainly been an eventful month!
